A Summer Place – Living by the Sea
In A Summer Place, designer and author Tricia Foley explores how to create airy, relaxed homes that capture the feeling of seaside living. The book draws on the seaside community of Bellport-Brookhaven on Long Island, where Foley lives, featuring modern homes built around water views, restored nineteenth-century shingle-style cottages, and artist retreats filled with color and pattern.
Chapters cover summer decorating style, casual outdoor entertaining, seasonal flowers and weekend guest tips, with ideas that translate to seaside living anywhere.
