Holiday Tablescape Ideas for an Elegant Season

The holiday table is where the season really happens. It's where the toasts are made, the stories are retold and the evening stretches long past dessert. 1. Start with a classic foundation

Cranberry Rosemary Holiday Punch

Bright, a little tart and just sparkling enough. It's easy to make ahead and can be made with or without alcohol. Serves 6.

Ingredients

• 3 cups cranberry juice, chilled
• 1 1/2 cups fresh orange juice, chilled
• 1 cup ginger ale, chilled
• 1 cup sparkling water, or prosecco for a grown-up version
• 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
• 1 orange, thinly sliced
• 4 to 6 sprigs of fresh rosemary

Method

1. Stir the cranberry and orange juice together and chill until your guests arrive.
2. Just before serving, add the ginger ale and the sparkling water or prosecco so the bubbles stay lively.
3. Drop in the cranberries and orange slices, and tuck in a sprig or two of rosemary.

5. Finish with heirloom accents
